The First Specialist Conference of The 2015 “Proactive Planning Project for an Internationally-Harmonized and Innovative Revision of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act”

Share:

Pharmaceutical and medical regulations are closely linked with the health of the people, and taking charge of Taiwan’s pharmaceutical administration is the main legal obligation of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act. The Taiwanese Pharmaceutical Affairs Act has been in place since 1970 and although the scope of amendments varies, due to the dynamic development of pharmaceutical technology and to keep pace with international advances, the parent law the, “Pharmaceutical Affairs Act” which encompasses pharmaceuticals, pharmacists, and pharmacies has naturally become the main goal in sight.

Therefore, the Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare has entrusted the Taipei Biotechnology Service and Business Trade Association (“TBSA”) to take the initiative in hosting “The 2015 Proactive Planning Project for an Internationally-Harmonized and Innovative Revision of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act”. The TBSA will be altogether assisted by Zhong Yin Law Firm, who possess substantial, practical experience in the international medical field, and are intimately familiar with medicinal trends. Zhong Yin’s managing partner Wu Hsiao-Han (Charlotte Wu) will lead a professional legal time to execute this project and look forward to carrying out this ambitious overhaul of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act. This project will converge the world over and act as a portal for future pharmaceutical regulations, by both improving the health of the nation and marking a new milestone in the course of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act.

To wholly implement this huge project, we would like to send a special invitation to professionals and academics who possess practical and in depth knowledge of the medical field to attend the first professional conference at the Taipei Sheraton Hotel on September 15th, 2015 for a passionate discussion of relevant topics in reforming the law. In the future, this project will open up a road of endless possibilities.
